“Smell the Room”
New York City’s top chefs came together for one night only to create “street food” for STREETS International’s 5thAnnual New York benefit.  On tables around the room were delights and delicacies from our city’s best restaurants.  Josh Eden of August created a pork and shrimp pot sticker especially for the occasion that was one of the evening’s favorite dishes.  Blue Smoke’s Kenny Callaghan was there with his delicious signature Texas Salt and Pepper Beef Rips and Coleslaw.  Fluke Fish Tacos from Red Rooster, Pan Fried Crepes from Kuma Inn, Tea and Spice Smoked Duck Breast from Clyde Frazier’s Wine & Dine and did I mention the mixologists?  You get the idea.  When founder and chairperson of STREETS International,  Neil Bermas, requested that his guests “smell the room” it was truly a moment to savor.
